The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP rear shock (985-24-221) delivers race-proven damping technology in a bolt-on package. Designed to optimize off-road articulation while maintaining refined on-road manners, these shocks utilize an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This mono-tube design eliminates oil aeration, ensuring fade-resistant performance and consistent valving regardless of the terrain.

Built with a 2-inch metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel bodies and features a clear-anodized finish for long-term corrosion resistance. The internal components are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, paired with a race-developed high-flow piston and Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings for quiet, durable operation.
