The FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP (Internal Floating Piston) rear shock is engineered to increase off-road capability by extending drop-out travel while maintaining precise on-road handling. The monotube design features a metal-impacted 6061-T6 aluminum body that dissipates heat four times faster than traditional steel shocks, significantly reducing fade during aggressive driving. Inside, the internal floating piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, preventing oil aeration and ensuring consistent damping across varied terrain.
