The Fox 2.0 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP (Internal Floating Piston) rear shock is designed to improve vehicle control and off-road capability by increasing drop-out travel and providing more consistent damping. Built with a 6061-T6 aluminum body, these shocks dissipate heat four times faster than conventional steel shocks, reducing fade during extended use. The internal floating piston architecture separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, preventing aeration and ensuring predictable performance in harsh environments.

These shocks feature a race-developed high-flow piston and application-specific valving to reduce vehicle sway while maintaining a connected, comfortable ride on the pavement. The redundant sealing system and Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings ensure long-term durability and reliability for both daily driving and technical trail use.
