The Fox Factory Race Series 2.5 x 12 coilover provides uncompromised off-road performance through patented internal bypass technology. This design allows oil to bypass the piston through specific ride zones, providing a plush feel during normal travel while generating significant damping force at the end of the stroke to prevent bottoming out. The external remote reservoir increases oil capacity and cooling surface area, aided by the integrated cactus cooler design to maintain consistent damping during aggressive use.
Equipped with Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjustment, this shock allows for precise fine-tuning of high-speed and low-speed compression to account for vehicle weight, terrain, and speed. The construction features a proprietary Cerakote protective ceramic coating over a zinc-plated basecoat for superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The 7/8-inch shaft is constructed from 17-4 H900 hard chrome-plated stainless steel for maximum tensile strength and durability.
