The Gates PowerGrip SB clamp provides a maintenance-free, leak-proof seal for automotive cooling systems. Unlike traditional worm-gear clamps that can cause hose deformation or require frequent retightening, these heat-shrinkable thermoplastic sleeves provide constant tension that reacts to thermal cycling. This dynamic sealing technology effectively eliminates "cold leaks" by maintaining a consistent 360-degree seal as the hose and fitting expand and contract during operation.
- Fits Hose Outer Diameter (OD): 1-3/4" to 2" (44mm - 51mm)
- Nominal Hose Inner Diameter (ID): 1-1/2" (38mm)
- Material: Heat-shrinkable thermoplastic construction
- Installation: Requires a standard heat gun for secure fitment
