The GiroDisc A2-232 high-performance rear rotors are a direct replacement for the factory units on the 2007-2011 Nissan GT-R (CBA). Designed for enthusiasts who demand consistent braking performance and reduced unsprung weight, these 2-piece rotors feature a central 6061-T6 aluminum hat and a high-carbon iron disc. This construction allows for improved heat dissipation over the stock one-piece design, preventing brake fade during spirited driving or track sessions.
The slotted surface provides a continuous path for water, dust, and gases to escape, ensuring a clean contact patch between the rotor and pad. By utilizing a floating mount system, the disc is free to expand and contract under extreme temperatures, significantly reducing the risk of rotor coning or warping.
