The GiroDisc A2-204 slotted rear rotors are a direct 2-piece replacement for the factory one-piece units, engineered to reduce unsprung weight and improve heat management. By utilizing a central 6061-T6 aluminum hat and a high-carbon iron rotor ring, these rotors provide a significant reduction in rotating mass, which directly translates to improved suspension response and handling.
The disc features a curved vane design that acts as a centrifugal pump, pulling cool air through the rotor to dissipate heat more efficiently than standard OE designs. The slotted surface ensures that brake pads remain clean and free of glazing by constantly venting gas and dust, providing a consistent pedal feel even under aggressive driving conditions.
