GiroDisc A2-008 rear rotors are a high-performance 2-piece upgrade designed to replace the factory units on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6-9. By utilizing a two-piece construction, these rotors significantly reduce unsprung weight at the rear corners while improving thermal management. The rotor rings are cast from a proprietary high-carbon iron to ensure friction stability and long-term durability under heavy track or spirited street use.

The hats are machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a gold anodizing for superior corrosion resistance. This floating mounting system allows the rotor ring to expand and contract independently of the center hat during extreme temperature cycles, preventing warping and the pedal pulsation often associated with single-piece OE rotors.
