The Hellwig 7697 front sway bar is a high-performance handling upgrade designed to correct the body roll and vague steering response common in first-generation Tundra and Sequoia platforms. Engineered for trucks that see daily use, heavy hauling, or towing duty, this bar provides the increased torsional stiffness required to keep the vehicle level through corners and stable under load.
Construction features 1-1/4 inch solid, heat-treated 4140 chromoly steel for maximum strength and durability. This sway bar is a direct-fit component that reuses factory end links, making for a straightforward bolt-on installation. By replacing the undersized factory bar with Hellwig’s larger diameter solid chromoly unit, you gain immediate improvements in cornering traction, driver comfort, and safety.
