The Hotchkis 1.5 Street Performance Series shock absorbers, manufactured by FOX, are engineered to deliver a smooth ride and exceptional vehicle control. Specifically tuned by Hotchkis ride engineers, these shocks utilize cutting-edge monotube technology housed in a lightweight, smooth-bore, Type III hard-anodized aluminum body. Designed as a direct OE replacement, they provide the necessary dampening to handle modern tire and wheel packages while maintaining classic car comfort.

Internally, these shocks feature digressive disc technology and high-flow pistons paired with specially formulated oil and high-pressure nitrogen. This setup ensures consistent performance across varying temperatures and road conditions. For maximum durability, each shock is built with a 1/2-inch hard chrome-plated, heat-treated alloy shaft tested for 100-hour salt spray resistance. The rod guide includes a dual wiper/scraper seal system to prevent contaminants from reaching the main seal, while 6061-T6 billet aluminum end caps and polyurethane bushings provide a secure, long-lasting mount.
