The ICON 191001 Drop Pitman Arm is engineered to correct steering geometry on Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with 4 to 8 inches of suspension lift. This heavy-duty arm provides a 4-inch drop, lowering the drag link connection point to reduce steering bind and maintain consistent handling characteristics.
To minimize bump steer and ensure precise control, it is highly recommended to use this drop pitman arm in conjunction with a track bar (pan rod) drop bracket. This combination maintains the critical parallel relationship between the track bar and drag link throughout the suspension cycle, preventing unwanted steering feedback over uneven terrain.
