The ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback shocks are engineered to provide significantly improved off-road damping while maintaining a refined street ride. These 2.5-inch diameter shocks feature application-specific valving and a nitrogen-charged monotube design tailored for the first-generation Tundra. The integrated piggyback reservoir increases oil capacity for superior heat dissipation, effectively reducing shock fade during aggressive or prolonged use.

For extreme conditions, these shocks incorporate ICON’s internal "Bump Zone." This 6061 billet aluminum manifold increases damping force by an additional 20% near the end of the compression stroke, helping to prevent harsh bottom-outs and maintaining control at high velocities. The 100% rebuildable and revalveable design ensures these shocks remain a long-term suspension solution.
