The Stage 5 kit distinguishes itself by including ICON CDC (Compression Damping Control) Valve 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks, allowing for external adjustment of damping characteristics to suit varying loads and terrain. To ensure maximum steering control, the kit also features a dual opposing 2.0 Aluminum Series steering stabilizer system.

Construction features include corrosion-resistant 6061-T6 anodized aluminum shock bodies and 7/8-inch induction hardened, chrome-plated shafts. The system utilizes ICON-engineered dual-rate coil springs to provide a compliant ride on the street while maintaining enough bottoming resistance for aggressive off-road use, delivering approximately 25% more front wheel travel than the stock configuration.
