The ICON Stage 2 suspension system is engineered to maximize the performance of the 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner platform. This comprehensive kit centers on ICON’s 2.5 VS Series front coilovers and 2.0 Aluminum Series rear shocks, both utilizing vehicle-specific valving to deliver superior damping control. The front coilovers are height-adjustable from 0-3" of lift, providing clearance for larger wheel and tire combinations while maintaining a balanced ride. For the rear, ICON includes 1" lift coil springs and shocks to level the stance and improve load handling.
Durability and geometry are addressed via the inclusion of ICON Delta Joint tubular steel upper control arms. These UCAs allow for increased wheel travel and provide necessary alignment correction for lifted applications. The system uses high-strength components throughout, including CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8" shafts and FK Rod End bearings for minimal deflection. Every ICON shock absorber in this system is fully serviceable, allowing for rebuilds or custom re-valving to suit specific vehicle weights and terrain requirements.
