This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube, positioning the air filter in the cooler air stream outside the engine bay. Because this intake path occupies the space of the factory fluid bottle, Injen includes a custom-engineered replacement windshield wiper fluid reservoir to maintain full vehicle functionality.
Utilizing patented MegaRam (MR) and Air Fusion technologies, the SP1477BLK ensures safe air/fuel ratios while delivering dyno-proven gains of up to 15 hp and 11 lb-ft of torque. The system features the SuperNano-Web dry air filter, which provides high-efficiency filtration and improved airflow without the maintenance required by oiled filters.
