The Injen SP Series Short Ram Air Intake (SP3009P) is a performance-tuned upgrade designed specifically for the Volkswagen 2.0L platform. Constructed from mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum, this system eliminates restrictive factory piping in favor of a smooth, uninterrupted airflow path. The soul of this system is Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology, which allows engineers to tune the intake tube to maintain safe air-to-fuel ratios while delivering consistent power increases across the power band.

Equipped with a fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter, this intake provides superior filtration and increased surface area without the maintenance of oiled filters. To ensure a cool air charge, the kit includes a custom-engineered heat shield and cover designed to isolate the filter from ambient engine heat. Dyno testing has shown performance gains of up to 10 horsepower and 27 lb-ft of torque.
