The Injen Evolution EVO9205 cold air intake is a precision-engineered induction system designed to maximize the performance of the Ford 2.3L EcoBoost engine. Built from cross-linked high-density polyethylene (XLPE), the roto-molded housing and intake tube are designed for extreme thermal durability and a factory-like fit. This system features Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and a massive 5-inch OD intake tube that tapers to increase airflow velocity at the turbo inlet. The forward-facing ram air scoop ensures a steady supply of cool, dense air, resulting in dyno-proven gains of up to 23 horsepower and 21 lb.-ft. of torque.
This intake utilizes the patented Twist-Lock filter attachment system for a secure, gasket-free seal and includes a fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter. The design is engineered to work seamlessly with the factory ECU calibration, requiring no aftermarket tuning for immediate performance improvements. A clear inspection badge allows for quick filter maintenance checks without disassembly.
