The Injen SP Series Short Ram Intake System provides your 1.4L Jetta engine with a more efficient path for airflow, resulting in dyno-proven gains of up to 6 hp and 6 lb-ft of torque. Constructed from mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum, this intake replaces restrictive factory ducting with a smooth, tuned air path. Each system utilizes Injen’s patented MegaRam (MR) and Air Fusion technologies (Patents 7,359,795; 7,669,571; 7,757,548; and 7,721,699) to maintain safe air-fuel ratios while maximizing performance.

This kit features a custom-designed heat shield with a cover to isolate the intake from engine bay heat, ensuring cooler air charges. It includes the SuperNano-Web dry air filter, which offers superior filtration and increased surface area without the need for oiling. Designed and manufactured in Pomona, California, this system delivers an aggressive, throaty engine tone under full throttle.
