The Injen RD Series Cold Air Intake (RD1540BLK) is engineered to deliver measurable horsepower and torque gains by drawing cooler, denser air from outside the engine bay. Constructed from mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum, this system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a smooth, high-flow path for intake air. The tubing is finished in a durable black powder coat for a clean, performance-oriented look.
This kit includes a fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry air filter (X-1012), which utilizes a proprietary media to capture micro-contaminants while maintaining high airflow rates. Designed and manufactured in Pomona, California, this intake is CARB exempt under EO #D-476-3, making it street-legal in all 50 states for the specified vehicle applications.
