Protect your engine from power-robbing oil vapor with the J&L 3.0 Passenger Side Oil Separator. During high-load operation, crankcase pressure vents oil-laden air back into your intake tract, coating intake manifold runners and potentially diluting your fuel's octane level. This condition is especially prevalent in forced induction applications like the supercharged 5.4L and 5.8L V8s found in the GT500.
Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a sophisticated multistage filtration system. Fine oil vapors are trapped by a stainless steel mesh screen and a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter, causing them to coalesce and drop into the 3 oz reservoir. The knurled tank base allows for tool-free removal during oil changes, and the integrated O-ring seal prevents vacuum leaks.
