The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is engineered to protect your 3.0L EcoBoost engine from the efficiency-robbing effects of oil vapor. During crankcase venting, oil mist often enters the intake tract, coating the manifold runners and potentially diluting your fuel's octane. This is especially prevalent in forced-induction engines like the 3.0L EcoBoost, where increased crankcase pressures are common.

This oil separator is CNC-milled from solid billet aluminum for maximum durability and features a black anodized finish. It utilizes a sophisticated multistage filtration system: a fine stainless steel mesh screen traps vapors, which then pass through a 1/2" thick, 1/16" aluminum honeycomb filter. Once the oil droplets become heavy enough, they fall into the 3oz reservoir, allowing only clean air to pass back into the intake. The knurled tank base allows for easy, tool-free removal during maintenance.
