Protect your intake tract from oil vapor contamination with the J&L Oil Separator 3.0. During normal engine operation, crankcase pressure is vented back through the intake, carrying oil vapors that can accumulate in the intake manifold, runners, and valves. This blow-by can effectively dilute your fuel, lowering its octane rating and reducing performance—a problem amplified in turbocharged engines like the 3.0L EcoBoost. The J&L Oil Separator traps these vapors before they reach your intake.

Milled from solid billet aluminum, this separator features a multistage filtration system. It uses a fine mesh stainless steel screen to catch fine oil vapors, which then pass through a 1/2-inch thick, 1/16-inch aluminum honeycomb filter. As the particles grow larger, they fall into the 3oz reservoir. The tank features a knurled base for easy removal and an O-ring seal to ensure a leak-free system. Maintenance is simple; J&L recommends draining the tank every 2,000 to 3,000 miles to keep your PCV system clean.
