Engineered for high-demand Subaru performance builds, this JE Pistons forged piston set is machined from 2618 aluminum alloy to provide the high tensile strength required for forced induction and racing applications. The proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design utilizes a reduced skirt width and shorter wrist pins to minimize friction and reciprocating weight without compromising structural integrity.
These pistons include an integrated accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, effectively reducing ring flutter and improving the ring seal for more consistent power delivery. The skirts are treated with a specialized coating to reduce friction and wear on both the piston and cylinder walls while dampening operating noise. Each set comes complete with premium JE Pro Seal rings, high-quality wrist pins, and locks for a comprehensive internal upgrade.
