This JE Pistons FSR Series forged piston set is engineered specifically for the Toyota 4U-GSE engine, providing a high-strength solution for high-performance and racing builds. Machined 100% in the USA from 2618-T6 aluminum alloy, these pistons feature a proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) design. This architecture reduces friction and rotating mass by utilizing a narrow skirt width and shorter wrist pins without sacrificing structural integrity under high loads.
Each piston is equipped with an accumulator groove to manage combustion gas pressure, effectively reducing ring flutter and maintaining a superior seal for consistent power delivery. The skirts are engineered to minimize wear on both the piston and cylinder walls, ensuring longevity in demanding environments.
