Fits 2000-2003 Dodge Dakota and Durango models equipped with 5.2L or 5.9L V8 engines.
The K&N 57-Series FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system utilizes a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube to increase airflow volume and velocity to the engine. By providing a more direct path for air, this kit is designed to deliver a measurable increase in horsepower and torque.
The system features an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media, providing excellent filtration and a service interval of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. A custom-fit heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from engine heat, ensuring cooler, denser air enters the intake. This bolt-on upgrade typically installs in less than 90 minutes using standard tools and factory mounting points.
