The K&N 69-1008TB Typhoon air intake system is a performance-oriented induction setup designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. By utilizing a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this system reduces airflow restriction and straightens the air path, allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently. The intake tube features a durable blue powder-coat finish and includes integrated provisions for the factory air temperature sensor and crankcase vent hose.
This short ram system includes an oversized, cone-shaped K&N high-flow air filter with a black rubber top. The filter is washable and reusable, capable of lasting up to 100,000 miles between cleanings depending on driving conditions. Installation typically takes 90 minutes or less using standard hand tools and existing factory mounting points.
