The K&N 57-2555 Performance Intake Kit replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to reduce air path restriction and increase the volume of air available to your engine. This system features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube designed to streamline airflow directly into the throttle body. By pairing this intake tube with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter and a custom heat shield, the system helps isolate the intake charge from high engine bay temperatures for better performance.
- Oiled cotton media filter is washable and reusable
- HDPE rotationally-molded tube for high-volume airflow
- Filter service interval of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway conditions
- Custom heat shield protects intake air from engine heat
- Bolt-on installation typically completed in 90 minutes or less
