The K&N 69-0021TB Typhoon air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air box and filter with a high-flow, mandrel-bent aluminum induction tube. By smoothing and straightening the airflow path, this system reduces intake restriction and allows the engine to inhale a larger volume of denser air for improved throttle response and acceleration. The intake tube features a durable blue powder-coated finish and connects directly to the throttle body.
This kit includes an oversized conical air filter and a water-repellent DryCharger filter wrap to provide an additional layer of protection against moisture. The washable, reusable filter can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using basic hand tools like a screwdriver, ratchet set, and pliers.
