Fits 2004-2011 Ford Ranger and 2004-2009 Mazda B4000 models equipped with the V6-4.0L engine.
The K&N 57-2561 performance intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve airflow and engine efficiency. This kit features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) intake tube designed to increase the volume of air reaching your engine while maintaining structural integrity under high temperatures. The system includes a custom heat shield to isolate the intake air from engine heat, ensuring a cooler, denser oxygen charge.
At the heart of this kit is a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter. The oversized conical design uses oiled cotton filter media to provide high airflow and excellent filtration. Under normal highway driving conditions, the filter can go up to 100,000 miles before requiring service.
