The K&N 69-Series Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to reduce intake restriction and streamline airflow to the engine. By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, this short ram system provides a more direct path for air, resulting in improved throttle response and engine sound. The intake tube features a durable silver powder-coated finish for a clean look under the hood.
This system comes equipped with an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media. This filter is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom-fit heat shield is included to help protect the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler charge for the combustion chamber.
