The K&N 69-0017TS Typhoon Short Ram Intake is a performance-oriented induction system designed specifically for the 2007-2011 Acura RDX (L4-2.3L). By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this system reduces airflow restriction to increase engine response and efficiency.
This system features an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed from oiled cotton media, providing superior filtration and air volume. The washable, reusable filter is designed to go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. To protect the intake charge from high engine bay temperatures, the kit includes a custom heat shield designed for the RDX chassis.
