The K&N 63-3072 AirCharger Performance Intake is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, allowing your engine to breathe more efficiently. This system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube that increases the volume of airflow while smoothing the air path to the throttle body. It is paired with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter featuring washable oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions.
To maintain lower intake air temperatures, the system includes a custom heat shield that isolates the filter from radiant engine bay heat. This bolt-on upgrade is designed for a precise fit and can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes using basic hand tools.
