The K&N Typhoon Series performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. By streamlining the path of airflow to the 3.5L V6 engine, this short ram intake provides a measurable increase in horsepower and torque.
This system features an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media, engineered to provide high airflow while maintaining exceptional engine protection. The washable, reusable filter is designed to go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is included to help isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler air charge reaches the engine.
