The K&N 69 Series Typhoon cold air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to significantly reduce intake restriction and mitigate heat soak. By replacing the restrictive factory air box and plastic intake tract, this system allows the engine to inhale a larger volume of cooler, oxygen-rich air, resulting in improved throttle response and power delivery. This kit features an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter engineered with oiled cotton media for superior airflow and filtration. The filter is washable and reusable, capable of going up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom-fit heat shield is included to isolate the filter from high engine compartment temperatures. This system is designed to bolt directly into factory mounting points, typically allowing for installation in 90 minutes or less.
