The K&N Blackhawk Induction air intake system (71-4519) is engineered for drivers seeking a sleek, all-black under-hood appearance without compromising on filtration or airflow. This performance system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. The tube is finished in a durable black powder coating to resist corrosion and heat soak while optimizing air delivery to the throttle body.
This kit features the oil-free DryFlow synthetic filter media, which provides exceptional engine protection and high-volume airflow without the maintenance requirements of oiled filters. To further enhance performance, a steel heat shield is included to isolate the air intake from engine bay heat, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge. The entire system is a direct-fit replacement that can typically be installed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
