The K&N 57-Series Performance Air Intake Kit (MPN 57-2579) is engineered to reduce intake restriction and increase the volume of oxygen-rich airflow to your engine. By replacing the restrictive factory air box and intake tubing with a custom-engineered induction system, this kit provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque for your Shelby GT500.
- HDPE Intake Tube: Features a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene tube designed to increase air volume and streamline flow.
- High-Flow Air Filter: Includes an oversized, conical washable air filter with oiled cotton media, allowing for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal driving conditions.
- Thermal Management: A custom-fit heat shield protects the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler intake charge.
- Easy Installation: The entire system is designed to bolt on in approximately 90 minutes or less using standard hand tools.
