The K&N Typhoon 69-3526TP cold air intake system is engineered to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air intake and filter housing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube designed to provide high-volume, laminar airflow directly into the engine's throttle body. To protect the intake charge from high engine bay temperatures, the kit includes a custom heat shield tailored to the 2010 Mustang GT engine compartment.
At the heart of the system is an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. This washable, reusable filter is designed for a service interval of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The entire kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade that can typically be installed in approximately 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
