The K&N 63-3078 AirCharger Performance Intake is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, allowing your engine to breathe more efficiently. The system utilizes a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube to increase airflow volume and velocity. This kit includes a custom heat shield to protect the intake from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler air charge for better combustion.
Equipped with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter, this system features oiled cotton media in an oversized conical design. This configuration allows for service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The bolt-on design is intended for straightforward installation, typically completed in under 90 minutes using standard tools.
