The K&N 69-1018TS Typhoon Short Ram Intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve airflow and throttle response. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube that provides a smooth, direct path for air to reach the engine, reducing turbulence and increasing power output across the RPM range. The silver powder-coated finish provides a clean, professional look under the hood while resisting corrosion.
This kit includes an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media. This design allows for high air volume and excellent filtration, and the filter is completely washable and reusable—capable of going up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is provided to help isolate the intake from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring the engine draws in cooler, denser air.
