Fits 2012-2017 Chevrolet Sonic LS, LT, and LTZ models equipped with the 1.8L engine.
The K&N 69-4525TS Typhoon cold air intake system is engineered to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air box and intake path. This performance-oriented system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in silver, which facilitates smoother, higher-volume airflow directly to the engine. The oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter uses oiled cotton media, providing excellent filtration and allowing for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
To protect the intake charge from high engine bay temperatures, this kit includes a custom heat shield designed specifically for the Sonic engine bay. The entire system is a bolt-on upgrade that typically installs in less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools and factory mounting points.
