The K&N 69-3537TS Typhoon cold air intake system is engineered to reduce intake restriction by replacing the factory air filter and air path. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube that maintains consistent pipe diameter through every curve, ensuring smooth, laminar airflow into the engine. It is paired with an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed from oiled cotton media, which provides high airflow while maintaining critical engine protection. Under normal highway driving conditions, the filter can go up to 100,000 miles before requiring service.

To help maintain lower intake air temperatures, the kit includes a custom heat shield designed to isolate the filter from the heat of the engine bay. This is a complete bolt-on system that typically installs in less than 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
