The K&N 57-3088 Performance Air Intake System is engineered to streamline airflow and reduce restriction compared to the factory intake path. By replacing the restrictive OE air box with a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube and an oversized conical filter, this system increases the volume and velocity of air delivered to the engine. The included custom heat shield isolates the intake from high engine bay temperatures to maintain lower intake air temperatures.
- Features a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media for superior filtration.
- Go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions.
- Rotationally-molded HDPE tube increases airflow volume for improved engine performance.
- Custom heat shield helps protect intake air from engine bay heat soak.
- Straightforward installation typically completed in less than 90 minutes.
