Fits 2015-2016 Mitsubishi Lancer models (ES, Evolution, GT, Ralliart, SE, SEL) equipped with the 2.4L engine and manual transmission.
The K&N 63-5506 AirCharger Performance Intake is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to improve airflow and throttle response. This system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube that provides a smooth, aerodynamic path for air to reach the engine. By minimizing turbulence and increasing air volume, this intake is designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque.
This system includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed from oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles before service is required under normal highway driving conditions. To protect the intake charge from high engine bay temperatures, a custom-fit heat shield is included. The entire kit is a bolt-on replacement that can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes using standard tools.
