The K&N 69-5323TS Typhoon Performance Air Intake System is designed to eliminate airflow restriction and turbulence, providing a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. By replacing the restrictive factory air box and intake path with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube and an oversized conical filter, your engine receives a higher volume of oxygen-rich air for improved combustion and throttle response.
- High-Flow Filtration: Includes a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton media for superior protection and performance.
- Mandrel-Bent Tubing: The silver powder-coated aluminum intake tube is mandrel-bent to maintain consistent diameter and maximize airflow velocity.
- Heat Management: Features a custom heat shield designed to isolate the air filter from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler intake charge.
- Maintenance & Install: The oversized filter allows for up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway conditions. The complete system typically installs in less than 90 minutes using factory mounting points.
