The K&N 69-Series Typhoon Performance Intake system (69-5311TTK) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to unlock horsepower and torque. This system utilizes a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube to deliver a higher volume of oxygen-rich air directly to the engine. It features an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed with oiled cotton media, which provides excellent filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions.
This kit includes a custom heat shield to help protect the intake air from high under-hood temperatures. The entire system is designed to bolt onto factory mounting points, typically allowing for installation in under 90 minutes with standard hand tools.
