The K&N 69-3535TP Typhoon Cold Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction and provide a smoother, more aerodynamic path for airflow to reach your 5.0L engine. By replacing the restrictive factory air box and intake tract with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube, this system allows for a measurable increase in horsepower and torque. The included custom heat shield helps isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge for improved combustion efficiency.
This kit features an oversized, conical K&N High-Flow Air Filter constructed from washable, reusable oiled cotton media. Designed for longevity, this filter can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. This is a complete bolt-on system that can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes using basic hand tools.
