The K&N 57 Series FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to reduce airflow restriction and stabilize the air intake path. This system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube that increases the volume of air delivered to your engine, resulting in a documented increase in horsepower and torque. The kit includes an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter constructed from washable, oiled cotton media, which can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under standard highway driving conditions.
To ensure a cooler, denser air charge, a custom heat shield is provided to isolate the filter from high engine bay temperatures. This direct-fit performance upgrade can typically be installed in under 90 minutes using standard tools and bolts directly to the factory mounting points.
