The K&N 69-3539TB Typhoon air intake system is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box and filter with a high-performance, mandrel-bent aluminum induction path. By smoothing and straightening airflow, this system allows the 2.3L turbocharged engine to inhale a larger volume of air, improving throttle response and acceleration throughout the RPM range.
This intake features a durable blue powder-coat finish designed to match the Focus RS factory badging. It includes a custom heat shield and a molded scoop to funnel cool outside air toward the oversized K&N high-flow filter. The system is designed for a straightforward installation in approximately 90 minutes using factory mounting points and standard hand tools, and it fully accommodates the factory air pressure sensor.
