The K&N 57-3027 Performance Intake Kit is engineered to eliminate the airflow restriction inherent in factory air boxes. By replacing the entire intake assembly with a rotationally-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube and an oversized conical filter, this system provides a higher volume of oxygen-rich air to your 7.4L V8 engine. The HDPE construction offers excellent thermal insulation, keeping intake air temperatures lower than traditional metal tubes for improved combustion efficiency.

The system features a washable, reusable K&N High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton media, designed to provide superior filtration and airflow. Under normal highway driving conditions, this filter can go up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required. A custom-designed heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from engine bay heat, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge.
