The K&N 57 Series FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box and intake path on your 5.9L Cummins diesel. By utilizing a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube, this system increases the volume and velocity of airflow reaching your turbocharger, facilitating measurable gains in horsepower and torque.
This intake features an oversized, conical High-Flow Air Filter made from oiled cotton media. This design provides superior filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway conditions. The included custom heat shield isolates the filter from engine bay heat, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge enters the engine. Installation can typically be completed in under 90 minutes using standard hand tools.
